Basically, the conclusion was that unless spotify pivots to get out of the music business, they will never make back their profit for their investors. There just aren enough overall dollars for spotify to get enough of them. Add to that that their losses are getting larger as they scale ( not just overall losses, but losses per customer grew in 2015, too).
